J24 Western Championships - Sligo Sailing Club - 17th-18th May

What a glorious weekend at the J24 Westerns, hosted by Sligo Yacht Club! We were treated to plenty of sunshine and just the right amount of wind. A huge thank you to Derek Bothwell and his race team for setting excellent courses despite the tricky weather conditions. Congratulations to the overall winners: Headcase in 1st, Hedgehog in 2nd, Il Riccio in 3rd, and FYCs Stouche in 4th - Darragh, Mark, and Mary McCormack, Oisin Finucane, and Dylan Reidy - fantastic to see them back racing Stouche after a long break! We're also incredibly grateful to Sligo Yacht Club for their warm hospitality and to Brian Raftery for all his support throughout the weekend
