Who we are

Sailing the Shannon since 1962

Foynes Yacht Club is a members' sailing club based in Foynes, Co. Limerick, on the south shore of the Shannon Estuary. We cater for cruising and racing sailors of all abilities — from first-time beginners to experienced offshore competitors.

We run a full racing calendar, a junior sailing academy, adult training courses, and a vibrant social programme throughout the year. Whether you own a boat, want to crew, or are simply curious about the water, you'll find a place at FYC.
